Marc Jacob‘s long time go-to photographer, Juergen Teller, refused to shoot Miley Cyrus in Jacob’s latest 2014 Spring/Summer ad campaign. Oddly enough, these two would have a lot in common; with Miley’s current “over-sexposed” phase and Teller’s erotic eye in photography. Considering an editorial on the new campaign was posted just yesterday, we wanted to find out why Teller didn’t want to shoot the highly spotlighted and in constant controversy Disney-child-turned-into-tongue-waddling-young-celeb and to put our focus primarily on who exactly this photographer working with W magazine as of late is.
As busy as Teller was working with W lately, he may not have had enough time to shoot this once teeny bopper star. When asked why Teller wasn’t on board with Marc Jacob’s new campaign featuring Miley Cyrus, Jacob responded with, “He just didn’t want to shoot her.” Well, you take your pick of reasoning but we will leave you with a showcase of his alluring work.
