Etdp Seta Bursary Agreement 2020

June 15, 2020 (at 16:00). (Applications submitted after this date are not accepted – please apply before the submission deadline for your application to be considered.) SETA services award scholarships to active and unemployed learners, in particular those studying educational programmes in the service sector. • The academic skills of the candidate. • Eligibility for an approved degree or PGCE in one of the priority areas. • commitment to a teaching career that includes: the interest of working with young people; enthusiasm for a professional career in apprenticeship; willingness to meet and meet difficult challenges; and personal integrity. • the obligation to teach in any school where a student may be appointed by a provincial educational service. For everything else, selection should give preference to candidates from rural areas, candidates wishing to teach in rural areas and candidates whose financial situation would otherwise exclude him from enrolment in the capacity to teach. The scholarship is only awarded if one of the in-depth subjects as a taught subject is included in your qualification. Applications must be made online by registering at: www.servicesetabursaries.org.za/register. What covers the scholarship The scholarship covers all the essential expenses of the beneficiary. Covered costs include education, full accommodation, including meals, books and teaching materials, as well as a small stipend for the monthly cost of living. Universities have different cost structures, so the total value of a scholarship is different. The scholarship can be renewed for one academic year.

Once successful completion of the study has been demonstrated, the scholarship may be renewed annually until the fellow qualifies as a teacher. Conditions of reimbursement of the scholarship The scholarship should only be reimbursed if the beneficiary does not qualify, does not apply for an apprenticeship position with a PED in a public school, if no apprenticeship position with a PED in a public school, leaves an apprenticeship position with a PED before the expiry of the contractual period of service, or does not meet other requirements of the scholarship agreement. . . .
